Our goal was to reinforce Magneti Marelli Checkstar’s position in the world of motor racing – both motocross and rally racing. We achieved this in the former by creating partnerships with MXGP global promoter along with world champion Tony Cairoli, and in the latter by participating in the Monza Rally Show and forging a partnership with the world rally cross circuit.

We took Italy’s Ottobiano Motorsport circuit from local racetrack facility to world class motocross circuit that has now hosted its first MXGP. This was achieved via a complete rebrand, encompassing marketing, online ticketing, event management, promotion and collateral events.

We implemented a complete rebrand for the FIM Motocross World Championship promoter, starting with a redesign of its logo. We drew up relevant full-brand guidelines and created a common thread that could be used throughout MXGP’s communication material to give the series stronger and more powerful branding.

Following the relaunch of its iconic MX racetrack, Italy’s Maggiora Park needed a new communication strategy along with the full rebrand of its venue. Slash supported the event organisation of several MXGP rounds, culminating in the epic 2016 Motocross of Nations event which featured its own brand identity consistent across all communications, promotion and ticketing, along with a specific 360-degree Ambassador Programme, bringing in 50,000 spectators.
